We used the new Land Registry Corporate & Commercial data to try to map the land owned by the 11 largest UK housebuilders: more than 42,000 land titles through over 1,400 subsidiary companies. We were hoping to investigate land banking, but the lack of geospatial data makes it impossible. Read why it's so difficult to map what the housebuilders own. Or just download the raw data (CSV).

TLDR: All locations on this map are approximate: many are wrong. Find out why.
